The Good Trade

This is a commercial I did with a fellow classmate during my last semester. It was last minute and very rushed but still fun. Had some good people on cast and crew. I always enjoy working with Mr. Sean Mirkovich, he is as reliable as they come! Thanks goes to Miss Elizabeth Novotny, who gave up studying for finals to be in this silly thing. You are as professional as you are lovely! And a special thanks goes out to Brian Michelsen for the gracious use of his apartment, and of course to my personal slave for the day, Justin Szabo. You guys really saved my ass! Thanks!

The Weight Of Knowing

This is a short I did for my Directing 2 class...
It's an adapted scene from the film, War Of The Roses, starring Michael Douglas and Kathleen Turner. There are still a few tweaks needed in regards to editing, but for the most part I think it works. Many thanks to the crew and my Actors: Tiffany Amspacher and Ranjit "Ronnie" Bhullar.

The Closet

This is a short I did based on a closet in my old flat...
Like many people in San Francisco, the house I lived in was very old. It was a Victorian built in the 1890's. My mind will often entertain the notion of what a century-old house has seen within its walls over the years.

This film could never have been accomplished without the mad improv skillz of my Actors: Sean Mirkovich and Justine Prado, nor without my wicked awesome crew of Colin Herlihy on lights and door. Special thanks to April Logerstedt for the allowable torture of her cat, Fin. Thanks all, you are the best!

Ethan Climbs A Tree

This is from a PSA short I did during my 2nd semester...
I never like the way it turned out, mostly because of my menial editing skills at the time, so I went back, re-edited it and completely changed the story. Ah, the magic of editing.

Much love to Ethan DeBruyne for his patience and tireless efforts, running around in the heat of the East Bay foothills as I stumble through my shots. You are a real trooper. Thanks!
